Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a hospital food service worker to prepare and serve meals, assemble patient trays, and assist on the tray line. You will interact with patients during meal service and ensure high standards of presentation and sanitation.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital dining environment, restocking stations, transporting trays, and supporting dietary services as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or retail food service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve foods and beverages in hospital dining environments.
• Assemble and deliver meal trays to patients and restock workstation.
• Interact with patients to take meal orders and deliver trays.
• Monitor presentation, temperature, and safety of food items.
• Report safety issues to department leadership.
• Restock patient and retail food lines as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and tray line areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
