Advocate Health is hiring for a hospital food service role. You will assemble patient and mobile meal trays, load and transport carts, and deliver meals to patient rooms following diet guidelines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include helping in cafeteria service, handling cash, and maintaining sanitation standards. It requires basic food service knowledge and good customer service skills, with opportunities to support catering and special events as needed.

Competenze

• Basic knowledge in food service from hospital, hotel, restaurant or related environment.
• Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
• Good communication and customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office or similar; ability to use e-mail and internet.

Mansioni

• Assembles patient and mobile meal trays according to diet guidelines and portions; adheres to productivity standards.
• Loads and transports food carts; delivers trays to patient rooms per procedures.
• Operates cashier duties and cash handling for cafeteria customers; completes daily reports as needed.
• Performs cleaning duties using established sanitation procedures in kitchen and cafeteria.
