Job summary

Responsibilities include assembling meals according to dietary requirements, delivering trays to patient rooms, and maintaining clean work areas and equipment. You may also coordinate with laundry to ensure supplies are available and assist with dishwashing as required.

• Prepare salads, hot foods, and cold foods for patients.
• Assemble fruit, vegetables, and meats by cutting, dicing and slicing.
• Serve and deliver trays to patients and assist with mealtime.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, utensils.
• Follow diet orders and note any allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Coordinate with laundry to ensure napkins and liners are available.
