You will handle the receipt, interpretation, and follow-through of patient diet orders and act as a liaison between patients, the Food and Nutrition Services Department, and Nursing Services.

Responsibilities include delivering and collecting patient trays, noting preferences, communicating needs, and ensuring nutrition orders are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service and delivers nourishments as ordered.
• Communicates patient food needs to Food and Nutrition Services.
• Ensures diet orders are followed and assists with sanitation tasks.
• Maintains temperature logs and inventories on assigned unit(s).
• Supports clinical staff in meeting patients' basic nutrition care needs.
