• On-the-job training of approximately one month provided.

Responsibilities

• Displays courtesy and professionalism while serving patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• Checks food temperatures before and during meal service; monitors quality of product.
• Distributes and collects patient meal trays and nourishments.
• Assists dieticians by obtaining information related to patient acceptance of meals and food quality.
• Performs daily inventory and orders food and paper supplies; maintains cleanliness of assigned areas.
