Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Room Service Ambassador to join our Florence Nutrition Team.

The role involves delivering and serving patient meals, guiding patients through the meal ordering system, and supporting nutritional needs in a caring, professional manner. Part-time position (10.5 hours), second shift, with emphasis on service excellence and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure dietary requirements are met.

• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to patients in a personalized, professional, efficient manner.
• Instruct patients on the meal ordering system.
• Assist patients in placing meal orders and assess their ability to use the system.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure the patient’s nutritional intake.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in every encounter with patients, families, visitors and staff.
