Job summary

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is hiring a Food Service Associate II PRN to manage dishroom, trays, and patient meals. You will ensure accurate tray assembly, timely delivery, and courteous patient interaction with strict HACCP adherence.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends/evenings as needed, with strong customer service and communication skills in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of food handling experience.
• Requires ServSafe Food Handler permit or equivalent within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishroom, janitor closet, and patient food carts.
• Delivers meals to patient rooms and ensures timely service.
• Reads patient diet cards and assembles trays accurately.
• Cleans work area and adheres to HACCP food safety procedures.
• Performs cashier duties and other tasks as needed.
