Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Marietta, GA is seeking a Nutrition & Food Service Assistant 2 for a part-time role. You will deliver patient-focused service, assemble patient meals on the tray line, and assist with food preparation, stocking and area cleanup in the NFS department.

The position emphasizes HACCP safety, proper sanitation, and teamwork. Prior retail or hospital foodservice experience and basic English/Math skills are preferred. Weekend work and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• One year of retail experience with customer interaction; cashiering preferred. Hospital foodservice experience and customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and Math.

Responsibilities

• Primary function involves delivering great customer service, while also accurately and expeditiously completing tasks.
• Food and supply preparation, service, re-stocking and clean-up.
• Patient meals / tray line: assembling meals per diet orders and patient preferences.
• Ensure safety per HACCP and Health Dept. guidelines; maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow department schedules, work weekends/holidays, and assist other team members as needed.
• Communicate respectfully and collaborate with NFS leadership to meet department goals.
