Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Nutrition & Food Services Assistant - Retail PRN to support dining operations during the Day shift. The role covers Retail service, Tray Line meal preparation, and Utility tasks, all with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities include following HACCP and safety guidelines, keeping work areas clean and organized, and assisting team members to ensure timely patient meals and customer satisfaction. This is a PRN, as-needed position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Hospital foodservice experience and customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and Math.

Responsibilities

• Retail - serving, prepping, cleaning, restocking, cashiering, while also demonstrating great customer service skills.
• Tray Line - working on a patient tray assembly line, preparing patient meals within the specifications of the diet order and patient preferences.
• Utility - safely transporting patient meal food carts to and from nursing units, warewashing of dishes, pots and pans; basic housekeeping of walls, floors, windows and equipment.
