Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Catering Associate to support the Department of Food & Nutrition by providing patient meals, tray assembly, and timely delivery. You will follow established procedures, read patient menus, and participate in rounds to ensure quality and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of service experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintains positive and friendly manner during peak service times with focus on timeliness, accuracy and service excellence.
• Complete Catering to You Training modules and pass competency test.

Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written instructions such as policies and procedures.
• Reads and comprehends patient menus and takes menu selections.
• Assembles and delivers patient trays in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adheres to diet restrictions and allergies for patient meals.
• Maintains infection control and food safety standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment; participates in daily cleaning tasks.
