WMCH Weirton Medical Center is seeking a dietary patient services worker to assemble, deliver, and nourish patients with meals and snacks. You will handle portions, monitor food temperatures, and maintain sanitation in the foodservice area while following hospital policies.

Responsibilities include operating equipment safely, labeling and storing items, and participating in ongoing training. The role requires a dependable, patient‑focused individual at a hospital on-site location.

Qualifications

• Must have a county-issued Food Handlers card or online card prior to hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assembles patient trays and performs trayline duties accurately and efficiently.
• Delivers and collects patient trays to and from patients safely and promptly.
• Prepares and delivers nourishments to patients per procedures.
• Portsion food items for patients and guests according to standards.
• Monitors and records proper temperature control of food products for safety.
• Labels, dates, rotates and stores all products in the foodservice area.
• Operates all food service equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and safely.
• Maintains sanitation standards; equipment cleaned daily per procedures.
• Attends in-service education and department meetings; follows policies.
