Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Baker City, OR is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker to support the Food and Nutrition Services Department. The role covers food production, assembly, sanitation of equipment, patient care service, storeroom, cafeteria and catering.

You will work rotating shifts, preparing and assembling meals for patients and cafeteria customers, delivering and retrieving patient trays, and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas.

Qualifications

• Oregon Food Handler Certificate required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous related work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assembles food items for patients on regular and modified diets and for cafeteria customers.
• Delivers and retrieves patient food trays.
• Performs cleaning procedures on food service equipment and work areas.
• May be asked to shuttle food products to sites of off the main hospital campus.
