Responsibilities include sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, proper food handling, adherence to menu and dietary requirements, and reporting any concerns to the dietician or supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by state/facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks related to cleaning and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas.
• Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menu.
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
• Understand and apply sanitation procedures to provide a safe environment.
• Adhere to menu compliance and report any dietary non-compliance or concerns to the dietician, supervisor or manager.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
