Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Nutrition Services Ambassador to manage patient meal service in daily operations, ensuring meals align with individual diet prescriptions and wellbeing.

Under supervision, you will gather menu selections, process orders, deliver meals, and coordinate with clinical dietitians to support patient care. No advanced degree required; 0-2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred education is High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient menu selections and processes tray tickets according to diet prescriptions.
• Assists with processing meal orders and ensures adherence to special diet requests.
• Visits patients to confirm diet orders and collect meal selections.
• Serves meals and beverages according to each patient's diet to meet nourishment needs.
• Supports assembling and delivering food trays and clearing trays after meals.
• Maintains records of meals served, cashier reports, and inventory.
• Communicates patient concerns to the clinical dietitian to arrange additional care.
• Acts as the point of contact between patient care units and nutrition staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
