Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Attendant to perform a range of production, service and cleaning tasks. You will deliver meals, assist with cashiering in the Café and maintain sanitary work areas while following FMC policies and AIDET guidelines.

The role requires high school diploma (preferred), on-the-job training, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Expect physical duties, shifting meal periods, and strict safety standards throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to floors during three meal periods and late trays as needed.
• Set up work stations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout shift.
• Complete cashiering duties in the Café and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Record temperatures and sanitizer concentrations for meals and equipment.
