Baptist Health in Miami is seeking a compassionate Dietary Assistant to initiate patient meal service, verify diet orders, and ensure timely tray delivery with excellent service. You will support the patient experience through accurate order processing and warm, respectful interactions.

You will work with dining services, utilize iPads for orders, and help advance nutrition goals while maintaining strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

Qualificações

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent; certifications or training noted.
• Food safety certification required within 90 days of entry.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Experience with computers, wireless printing, iPads, and hardware maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy preferred.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills essential.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Initiates meal service and verifies patient diet orders.
• Assembles trays, delivers meals, and conducts meal rounds.
• Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and guests.
• Maintains rapport with patients’ families and supports enteral supplies.
• Collaborates with dining services to facilitate service and adapt to area.
