Job summary

Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA seeks a Hospitality Associate to liaison between patients, Food and Nutrition Services, and Nursing Services. You will obtain patient meal orders, modify menus, and communicate with the patient services manager, nursing, dietitian, and production staff to ensure timely meals and clean meal service areas.

No prior experience required; High School Diploma or GED preferred, with 2 years experience in lieu allowed.

Qualifications

• Will accept 2 years experience in lieu of High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving.
• Basic computer skills.
• Complete Food Handler training within 6 months of hire.
• Must complete food allergens essentials training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Hospitality Associate acts as the liaison between the patients, Food and Nutrition Services, and Nursing Services.
• Attends to all patient requests for meals, nourishments and snacks.
• Obtains patient meal orders and performs accurate menu modification.
• Maintains effective communication with patient services manager, nursing, dietitian and production staff.
• cleans and sanitizes the meal service areas.
