Job summary

HealthFund Solutions is seeking an Insurance Advocate to enroll patients in ACA Marketplace plans onsite in Anniston, Alabama, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 am–4:30 pm. You will report to the assigned hospital daily and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include contacting patients to assess eligibility, enrolling in plans, guiding enrollment, documenting activity in EMR systems, and staying current on ACA policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience in healthcare or insurance.
• Knowledge of ACA marketplace, Medicaid, and insurance terms preferred.
• Computer proficiency; EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance.

• Contact patients to assess financial and medical eligibility for coverage.
• Enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans and obtain required documentation.
• Guide patients through the enrollment process and assist with case issues.
• Perform bedside screenings when necessary.
• Manage a high volume of outreach calls.

• Stay up to date on ACA policies, procedures and certification requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely data to support reporting and tracking needs.

This is a onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The employee will be required to report to their assigned hospital daily in Anniston, Alabama.
