Job summary

HealthFund Solutions LLC is seeking an Insurance Advocate to enroll patients in ACA Marketplace plans at your assigned hospital facility in Brooksville, Florida. This onsite role runs Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm EST and requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will contact patients to assess eligibility, enroll in plans, gather documentation, and document activity in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ACA marketplace, Medicaid, and commercial insurance terms.
• 1-2 years related experience in health enrollment or insurance.
• Proficiency with computer systems and EMR/EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients to assess financial and medical eligibility for coverage.
• Enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans and obtain required documentation.
• Guide patients through enrollment process and assist with case issues.
• Perform bedside screenings when necessary.
• Manage a high volume of outreach calls.
• Document all activity in HealthFund Solutions, Hospital databases, and EMR systems.
• Stay up to date on ACA policies, procedures and certification requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely data to support reporting and tracking needs.
