Job summary

HealthFund Solutions LLC in Anniston, Alabama, is seeking an Insurance Advocate for on-site, M-F 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans, assess eligibility, and guide them through the enrollment process while reporting to hospital sites daily in Anniston.

The ideal candidate has compassion, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with 1–2 years of related experience and ACA knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of ACA marketplace, Medicaid, and commercial insurance terms preferred.
• Computer proficient; EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients to assess financial and medical eligibility for coverage.
• Enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans and obtain required documentation.
• Guide patients through the enrollment process and assist with case issues.
• Perform bedside screenings when necessary.
• Manage a high volume of outreach calls.
• Document all activity in HealthFund Solutions, hospital databases, and EMR systems.
• Stay up to date on ACA policies, procedures and certification requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely data to support reporting and tracking needs.
