Job summary

TouchPoint is seeking a Patient Server to support food service at Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita, KS. The role involves delivering patient meals, assembling trays, and handling special dietary requests in a hospital setting.

The position requires physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds, good communication, and basic computer skills to operate hospital systems. Training is provided, with a full-time schedule and evenings into early night hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections and tray assembly.
• Deliver and pick up trays, handle special requests and dietary needs.
• Ensure accuracy of diet prescriptions with nursing staff and maintain tray integrity.
• Assemble trays according to menu selections and tray tickets in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient information on assigned unit(s) and ensure timely reporting of issues.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and HIPAA policies and complete required reports.
