Position Summary

The Patient Food Hospitality Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Orlando Health patients and guests, ensuring a memorable food and dining experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Display excellent communication and customer service skills with patients, nursing staff, and visitors.
  2. Deliver proper trays to the correct patients using appropriate customer service skills.
  3. Support the nutritional needs of patients as part of the Orlando Health team.
  4. Arrange trays on delivery carts and log delivery times.
  5. Log tray locations and ensure timely delivery to patients.
  6. Collect money for guest trays and log transactions with the diet office.
  7. Remove soiled trays and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
  8. Coordinate tray delivery with the expeditor and diet office as needed.
  9. Assist with tray expediting, checking for accuracy and completeness.
  10. Monitor patient diet prescriptions, order changes, and quality standards.
  11. Accurately take and check patient menus according to physician diet orders.
  12. Respect food allergies, intolerances, and preferences, modifying diets accordingly with the Diet Office System.
  13. Model essential service behaviors, including effective communication and cooperation with team members and visitors.
  14. Interact appropriately with a diverse patient population.
  15. Follow chain of command for departmental concerns.
  16. Maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with policies and regulations.
  17. Ensure compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications
