Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for the Metro Lexington, KY area. This position focuses on safe, accurate medication dispensing and exceptional patient care within a collaborative pharmacy team.

The Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and participate in immunizations, inventory management, and quality initiatives. A PharmD and Kentucky license are required, with opportunities to grow clinically in a patient-centered setting in Lexington.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited school.
• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Strong pharmaceutical care and safety knowledge.
• Excellent patient service and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy.
• Proficient with pharmacy management systems and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients regarding medications, side effects, interactions, and proper use.
• Assess prescriptions for appropriate dosing, potential interactions, and medication safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer immunizations and provide other clinical pharmacy services as authorized.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Assist with medication inventory, ordering, storage, and control.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives.
• Maintain continuing education and licensure requirements.
