Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and about three years of optical or customer service experience. Expect travel to other offices; compensation starts at $20.00–$21.00 per hour with benefits and PTO included.

Responsabilidades

• Take patient health histories, visual acuities, and pretests as requested by doctors; prep exam rooms for clinic and close down rooms afterward.
• Perform front desk duties: answer phones, greet patients, check in, prep charts, file, verify insurance, bill professional fees, schedule appointments.
• Assist with optical duties: frame selections, lens/frame ordering, glasses adjustments, dispensing glasses/contacts, repairs, and notifying patients when products are available.
• Manage contact lens responsibilities: orders, trials, and I&R classes.
• Order medical supplies and eye drops; reconciling monthly statements and general office duties.
• Travel to other offices as required; perform other duties as assigned.
