Job summary

Southwest Eye Care in Minnetonka is hiring a full-time Optometric Assistant. The role focuses on patient care, front desk responsibilities, and clinical support. You will assist doctors during clinics, perform pretests, prep exam rooms, and travel to other offices as needed.

Starting pay is $20.00-21.00/hour. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, holiday pay, 401K, and more. ABO/NCLE/CPO/CPOA/COA certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years related optical experience or customer service experience preferred.
• ABO, NCLE, CPO, CPOA, COA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient health histories and perform pretests requested by doctors.
• Assist doctors during clinic times and prep rooms for exams.
• Perform front desk duties: answering phones, greeting patients, check-in, scheduling appointments.
