Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (PT) in Arizona who documents, delivers and administers medicines to residents as prescribed by physicians, with top-tier customer service, and in accordance with all policies and regulations.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent; caregiver certification is a plus, with English proficiency required. Work Sundays 6am–2pm; on-the-job training and a supportive, hospitality-focused environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Experience handling medications preferred but on-the-job training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments and resident care as assigned.
• Observe, verify and document that medication is ingested or applied as directed.
• Notify supervisor if prescribed medication is not administered according to directions and document the reason(s).
• Maintain clear, accurate, complete and confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician(s) and verify dosages with physician prior to dispensing.
• Assist caregivers in daily living activities and provide support as needed.
