Job summary

Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, IA seeks a part-time receptionist for morning hours from 8am to 1pm, Monday–Friday, ~25 hours weekly. You will handle phones, paperwork, appointment scheduling, and medical records support while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Qualifications include high school grad or equivalent; training encouraged with some prior experience preferred. Heath assessments and background checks are required before hire.EOE.

Qualifications

• One year of training or experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available.
• Background check, drug screen, and health assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a professional manner and take detailed messages.
• Direct calls to appropriate office personnel and assist patients with paperwork.
• Schedule appointments to optimize patient flow for providers.
• Process medical records requests and verify patient demographics and insurance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in all duties.
