Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Coding & Price Transparency Specialist to provide accurate pricing estimates and guide patients through insurance, self-pay options, and financial responsibilities with clarity and empathy.

In this full-time role, you will collaborate with clinics and internal teams, utilize healthcare systems to support a seamless patient financial experience, and maintain confidentiality in line with EEO guidelines. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• Current coding certification required (AHIMA or AAPC – CCS or CPC)
• Associate degree preferred in healthcare, business, or related field
• 2+ years of medical coding experience preferred
• Experience with medical billing and reimbursement and healthcare or clinic environment preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills with ability to discuss patient financial responsibility
• Proficient in Excel with strong math skills and ability to complete forms and calculations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to meet annual competency requirements
