Qualifications

• Current coding certification (AHIMA or AAPC - CCS or CPC) required.
• Associate degree preferred in healthcare, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of medical coding experience preferred.
• Experience with medical billing and reimbursement and healthcare environment preferred.
• Proficient in Excel with strong math skills and accuracy.
• Ability to discuss patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to meet competency requirements.
