Job summary

Austin Diagnostic Clinic, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to provide frontline clinical support and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. You will work with a collaborative team to prepare patients, assist with exams, and support lab work and minor procedures.

The role requires MA program completion or equivalent experience with certification. Active MA credentials are highly preferred and ongoing certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or clinical care experience with certification.
• Active MA certifications (RMA/CCMA/CMA/NCMA/NCRMA) preferred.
• Certification within 12 months if not yet certificated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking histories and vital signs.
• Set up examination rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Administer injections and assist with lab tests and phlebotomy.
• Support physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Screen calls and refer patients as needed.
