Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant or relevant CNA/EMT/PCT experience required.
• Ability to take manual vitals and administer medication/injections.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient care and medication refill requests.
• Administer medications under physician direction.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with diagnostic testing.

Skills

Excellent organizational skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to administer medications & injections

Ability to work in a team environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant certification preferred
