Qualifications

• Serve Safe Certification or within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handlers Certification per state requirements within 6 months of hire.
• Diet competency certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect meal orders, prepare and serve food according to dietary guidelines.
• Handle advanced prep and ensure items meet production tallies and deadlines.
• Coordinate with cooks, supervisors and clinical staff on food quality.
• Rotate and replenish floor stock, food supplies and kitchen inventory to reduce waste.
• Clean dishes, utensils, equipment and work areas; ensure sanitation compliance.
• Operate basic kitchen tools and follow safety protocols.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines and monitor temperatures.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions.
