Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a PRN Culinary & Hospitality Associate for the Mattawan location. The role requires working every other weekend, noon to 8:30 pm, with a part-time schedule totaling about 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities include food assembly, patient meal delivery, and light facility cleaning in a patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of food safety, strong communication, and dependable teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Basic math skills for handling cash and measurements
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital food service environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble and serve foods and supplies to customers, patients, and staff
• Deliver meals and supplies to patients
• Perform light and heavy cleaning as assigned (dishwashing, trash, facility cleaning)
• Operate cash register and patient meal ordering system(s)
• Stocking, labeling, dating, and rotating products
• Maintain safety and quality standards reflecting Bronson’s mission and service levels
• Prepare, portion, distribute, and store various food items according to recipes and procedures
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist with other daily Food Services tasks as needed
