Responsibilities

• Care for the patient throughout treatment according to standards.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure readiness.
• Explain exams and answer basic questions; assist MR safety when applicable.
• Assist technologists, nurses or physicians during exams.
• Process CDs and manage patient flow; maintain lift equipment competencies.
• Coordinate patient care following imaging protocols and communicate with staff.
• Verify physician orders and reconcile with the correct exam.
• Prepare paperwork and information for exams; obtain orders from systems (EPIC, Chartview, Powerchart).
• Monitor scheduling to minimize delays and inform staff of issues.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure clean, orderly environment.
