Northwestern Medicine in Illinois is seeking a part-time Radiology Technician Assistant to support technologists, nurses, and physicians within Imaging Services. You will help coordinate patient flow, prepare exam rooms, verify orders, and assist during exams and with paperwork to keep procedures on track.

The role requires a High School Diploma and CPR (BLS), plus strong communication and teamwork. Shifts run on a rotating schedule (56 hours per pay period) with mornings, and the department

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients during treatment/procedure per standards and guidelines.
• Prepare procedure rooms and verify paperwork and orders.
• Explain exams and answer questions; MR Safety knowledge if MR.
• Assist technologists during exams and procedures.
• Process CDs and coordinate patient flow in imaging.
• Retrieve physician orders from EPIC, Chartview, Powerchart.
• Monitor scheduling and inform staff of delays.
• Maintain stock of supplies and clean, organized work areas.
