Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Board Certified Primary Care Physician for an outpatient clinic in the Metro Atlanta area. You will lead a dedicated care pod, provide patient-centered preventive care, and collaborate with health coaches, behavioral health, dietitians, and care coordinators to deliver high-quality, unhurried care.

This role emphasizes relationship-based medicine, extended visit times, and proactive wellness planning, with a strong team-supported environment and on-site resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a US medical school (MD or DO).
• Board Certified in General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Georgia medical license or license eligibility for immediate endorsement.
• 5 to 20 years of direct outpatient primary care experience.
• Commitment to relationship-based medicine and preventive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient medical care focused on disease prevention and long-term wellness.
• Lead a clinical pod and manage a dedicated patient intake roster.
• Direct care workflows with on-site nursing and administrative staff.
• Participate in a low-volume after-hours triage schedule with colleagues.
• Coordinate patient care across an integrated multidisciplinary network.
• Maintain thorough medical records in line with quality standards.
• Build lasting patient partnerships through extended visits and personalised planning.
