Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Revenue Cycle / Patient Financial Services professional to manage all aspects of hospital system patient accounting receivables. You will identify trends using A/R days and aging metrics, collaborate with departments to adapt to payer changes, and continuously monitor processes for improvement opportunities.

Required education is a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years in revenue cycle or accounts receivable; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in revenue cycle, healthcare reimbursement, billing, insurance follow up, collections and/or accounts receivable preferred.
• 1–2 years’ leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the patient accounting receivables for the hospital system.
• Identify trends using indicators such as A/R days and aging to ensure financial viability.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement payer changes.
• Monitor processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
