Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a qualified finance professional to manage patient accounting receivables across the hospital system. You will monitor key metrics such as A/R days and aging, and coordinate with various departments to adapt to payer changes.

Required is a Bachelor’s in Finance or Business with at least five years in healthcare reimbursement or AR, plus strong analytical and communication skills. Leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare reimbursement, billing and/or accounts receivable.
• Leadership experience preferred (5 years).
• Knowledge of accounting/finance systems and medical terminology/coding.

• Manage all aspects of patient accounting receivables for the hospital system.
• Identify trends and fluctuations using indicators like A/R days and aging.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement payer changes and process improvements.
