CoxHealth is seeking a seasoned accounts receivable leader to oversee patient accounting receivables across the hospital system in Springfield, Missouri. The role focuses on monitoring AR days and aging, partnering with departments to adjust for payer changes, and driving improvements to keep the network financially viable.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and at least five years in healthcare reimbursement or AR, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in healthcare reimbursement, billing or AR.
• Leadership experience preferred (5 years).
• Knowledge of accounting/finance systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; familiarity with medical terminology and coding.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of patient accounting receivables for the hospital system.
• Identify trends and fluctuations using AR days, aging, and other indicators.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to implement changes for payer/contract updates.
• Monitor processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
