Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• No prior hospital or medical office experience required; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guarantors and obtain demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Explain policies, obtain signatures and collect patient out-of-pocket amounts per guidelines.
• Verify insurance benefits, determine filing order, and obtain required authorizations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and guide patients to appropriate destinations.
• Prepare and balance daily payment deposits and provide patient cost estimates.
