Job summary

• Ability to discuss financial terms with patients and determine available funding sources.
• Experience coordinating with Revenue Management and clinical departments.
• Familiarity with billing processes and third-party payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to determine eligibility for Medicaid and other funding sources.
• Discusses price of care and financial options with patients and collects required data.
• Resolves accounts via payment plans, charity, or other revenue management options.
• Prepares price estimates and educates patients on insurance benefits.
• Maintains patient records in the Electronic Medical Record and billing systems.
