• 3 years of experience in patient financial services or medical billing in a hospital business office.
• 5 years of experience without degree.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and coordinates all aspects of financial obligations for private pay patients.
• Includes patient relations, physician liaison regarding financial liabilities, deposit estimates and collection.
• Ensures customer needs/complaints related to financial services are responded to and documented timely and professionally.
• Supports organizational goals, system improvements and recovery strategies throughout the organization.
