• Collect payments and establish payment plans.
• Assist patients with financial assistance applications (Medicaid and other aid).
• Review self-pay and delinquent accounts; follow up with external collection agencies when needed.
• Counsel patients on payment options and Trinity Health policies with empathy.
• Document financial discussions and payment arrangements in systems.
