Banner Health is seeking a Registry/Per Diem representative to greet patients, perform registration, verify insurance, and collect payments at the Mesa/Tucson clinics. This role supports patient flow in a fast-paced environment and requires strong customer service skills.

As part of Banner Staffing Services, you may work at different Banner Health facilities with flexible shifts and per diem hours. Prior healthcare experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience in patient financial services or insurance processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle registration/check-in activities including data entry and forms.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications and authorizations.
• Collect patient liability and explain financial policies and payment options.
• Post payments/charges and reconcile daily transactions.
• Schedule patient visits and procedures; confirm appointments and prepare patients.
