Responsibilities

• Audit admission packets and verify benefits with patient demographics in the patient accounting system.
• Provide financial counseling to patients and guarantors and collect out-of-pocket costs.
• Complete financial disclosure paperwork for patients requesting assistance including income/expense verification.
• Complete adjustment forms for charity or administrative adjustments for approval.
• Prepare promissory notes for payment arrangements.
• Update daily upfront collection log, charity log, and admin adjustment log; review with BOD weekly.
• Gather and interpret data from the system to initiate timely actions to secure payment.
