Dallas IVF is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Counselor to join our team at the Frisco location. This role offers an opportunity to work in the innovative field of infertility care with a dedicated staff.

Applicants should have at least one year of experience in financial coordination within a healthcare environment and be a high school graduate.

Responsibilities of the Position Include:

  1. Verify medical benefits accurately.
  2. Prepare financial information and educate patients on treatment plans.
  3. Coordinate approval processes for billing policies and procedures.
  4. Meet with patients to discuss out-of-pocket expenses and assist with resources or assistance programs.
  5. Advise physicians and staff on insurance benefits and financial clearance.
  6. Ensure compliance with commercial and government payment requirements.
  7. Coordinate financial and registration processes and share information with relevant departments.
  8. Maintain high customer service standards.
  9. Work collaboratively with team members, emphasizing communication.
  10. Keep detailed records in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Over 2 years of insurance verification experience in healthcare.
  2. Over 1 year of medical billing experience.
  3. Knowledge of various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, EPO, etc.).
  4. Strong communication skills with patients.
  5. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
  6. Proficient written communication skills.
