OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Patient Financial Specialist to manage patient collections, payment plans, and bankruptcy accounts, coordinating with contracted collection agencies. The role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and patient-centered service within HIPAA and privacy guidelines.

Ideal candidates have healthcare collections experience, billing skills, and familiarity with Athenahealth; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework (medical, business, or accounting focus preferred).
• 5+ years in healthcare collections.
• 2+ years of billing experience.
• Bilingual (preferred).
• EMR experience, Athenahealth PM system.

Mansioni

• Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and set up payment plans.
• Upload and manage patient accounts in contracted collection agency software.
• Resolve disputes related to collections and work with agencies for account resolution.
• Handle credit card disputes and monitor bankruptcy accounts.
• Maintain HIPAA, PCI DSS, and confidentiality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service aligned with clinic mission.
