Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains clerical aspects of medical records.
• Conducts registration interviews and enters data for new patients.
• Schedules patient appointments per guidelines.
• Receives and directs messages to appropriate staff.
• Keys patient dispositions, diagnostic codes, orders, charges and payments in the EMR.
• Performs cashiering duties for co-pays and patient payments/collections.
• Delivers excellent customer service to patients and families.
• Acts as an active care team member in coordinating patient care.
