The role requires phlebotomy and office experience, strong communication skills, and BLS/phlebotomy certifications to be maintained during employment. Graduate of Medical Assistant School, Business/Vocational, or Medical Secretarial studies (or Phlebotomy courses) is required, with ASPT or equivalent

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and office experience required.
• Background in customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills, customer service oriented.
• BLS and Phlebotomy certification is required and must be maintained during employment.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant School, Business/Vocational, and Medical Secretarial or courses in Phlebotomy required.
• ASPT or equivalent certification is required to be obtained within the first six months of employment, if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clerical tasks and greet patients/visitors.
• Enter physician orders and manage data entry and retrieval of results.
• Support Laboratory computer systems to ensure efficient workflow.
• Collect phlebotomy samples and triage area tasks.
• Maintain printers and organization of requisitions; in-house courier service.
