Lumexa Outpatient Imaging is set to open in Asheville, NC, delivering outpatient radiology services with a focus on patient experience. The Patient Representative will handle check-in, registration, payments, scheduling, and frontline inquiries, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

The role supports onboarding and training for new staff and collaborates with clinicians to maintain service excellence in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 1+ years’ medical office experience preferred with patient registration workflows.
• High school diploma required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Check-in, patient reception and registration, and maintaining demographics.
• Collect payments and establish payment plans.
• Schedule exams and manage phone calls.
• Assist onboarding and training of new employees.
• Communicate with patients and staff to maintain flow.
• Process authorizations and financial estimates with central teams.
